Copake, New York is tucked between the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires, surrounded by charming small towns, beautiful countryside, and plenty to explore. We know it's a bit of a journey to get here, so if your schedule allows, we highly recommend making a longer trip out of the weekend!
There are two main airports we recommend flying into, depending on where you're coming from and how you'd like to travel.
Closest airport | Approximately 45–60 minutes from Copake
Albany is the most convenient airport if you're planning to head straight to the wedding. Flights are generally more limited, and you may need a connecting flight depending on your departure city.
Getting from Albany to Copake:
1. Rent a car (recommended)
We highly recommend renting a car if possible! The Hudson Valley and Berkshires have so much to see, and having your own transportation makes it much easier to explore the surrounding towns, restaurants, and attractions.
Rental cars are available directly at Albany Airport.
2. Arrange a private car or taxi
If you'd rather not drive, you can arrange a private car or taxi directly from the airport to Copake.
We're happy to help coordinate transportation, so just reach out!
More flight options | Approximately 2.5–3 hours from Copake by car/train
NYC airports generally offer more direct flights and cheaper fares, especially for guests traveling from farther away.
This is also a great option if you'd like to spend some time exploring New York City before or after the wedding!
